Services We Offer

Home-based ABA Therapy

At Starlight Behavioral Health, we provide in-home ABA therapy services that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. In the home setting, we work on a wide variety of areas, including behavioral concerns, and more.

Community-based ABA Therapy

Our community-based therapy can be combined with home-based therapy or done separately. Community sessions allow opportunities to work on different goals than the home, such as working on safety skills in public or school-related skills in a school or daycare setting. We also provide Social Skills Groups for clients whose goals include need for increased social opportunities.

Caregiver Collaboration

Our monthly caregiver collaboration meetings are individualized to ensure that we are providing each family and caregiver with the tools they need to be successful 24/7. We provide support and training to caregivers so they can continue the skills the client learns with their therapist outside of session hours.

We also work with other stakeholders in the client's care, including teachers and other therapy providers (such as speech and OT) to ensure the client's care is consistent across all settings and providers.

Our Approach

At Starlight Behavioral Health, we believe in taking a client-centered approach to care. Our client-centric approach ensures that each client receives personalized care that is focused on their unique goals and needs. We work closely with each client and their family to develop personalized treatment plans. Our team of experienced professionals is committed to providing compassionate care in a supportive and nurturing environment. We believe that everyone has the potential to achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life, and we are here to help our clients every step of the way.

Because Starlight Behavioral Health provides ABA that is client-centered, we focus on ensuring we have a positive therapeutic relationship with every client at the onset of care. All therapy sessions are structured to establish client assent, motivation, and buy-in at all times. We use reinforcement-based procedures to ensure ABA with Starlight is a positive experience for everyone involved.

Our Clients

At Starlight Behavioral Health, we accept clients ranged anywhere from 2 years of age through 13 years of age. Our experienced clinicians are skilled at working with children with a wide variety of behavioral needs. We are experienced in providing ABA to children with communication delays, motor skill deficits, difficulty with self-care tasks, lack of understanding of play-skills and social-skills, safety-related concerns, and many other behavioral concerns.

We are also passionate about making ABA accessible to everyone in the community who needs it. This includes offering care to all children that need support, not only those with ASD. While many insurances do not provide coverage for ABA if your child does not have an ASD diagnosis, we are happy to take you on as a private-pay client to provide behavioral care if your child does not have ASD.

Our Locations

We are currently accepting new clients anywhere in the general Portland area in Oregon. This includes as far west as Forest Grove, as far east as Gresham, as far south as Newberg and Wilsonville, and everywhere in between. If you are uncertain if you are within our service area, go ahead and fill out the form and someone will be in contact with you soon to confirm eligibility.
